What is Trauma Informed Yoga?
Trauma informed Yoga instructors are trained to use various movement techniques, breath work and meditation to address deeply ingrained trauma to help lead to healing. We all have experienced trauma and regardless of the degree, it impacts our lives and our relationships. The part of our brains that hold impressions of trauma is connected to our sympathetic nervous system, therefore using Yogic movement and mindfullness is an efficient way to crack open these layers and relieve anxiety as well as learn more about the most important person in your life- YOU.
